The Metro Map of the Ways of Saint James in the Iberian Peninsula was created based on the routes described by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Friends of the Way of Saint James (FEAACS), using their specific nomenclature. The map follows a format similar to a metro network, with each route assigned a unique, distinctive color and the start and end points of each stage represented as metro stations, with Santiago de Compostela serving as the main station.
Subsequently, a Metro Map for the Ways of Saint James in France was created, applying the same design principles used for the previous map. This version was based on the routes described by both the French Federation of Associations of the Way of Saint James (Compostelle-France) and the FEAACS. Both maps were designed to be easy to interpret and visually striking, and they can serve as helpful tools for route planning.
Metro Charts of the Ways of Saint James
The Metro Charts of the Way of Saint James were created to complement the Metro Map of the Ways of Saint James in the Iberian Peninsula. They are based on the routes described by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Friends of the Way of Saint James (FEAACS) and utilize its nomenclature.
A series of nineteen charts has been produced, grouping the routes according to geographical criteria and depicting them as metro lines. Stage start and end points are represented as stations, while towns along the way appear as intermediate stops. The route colors and names correspond to those on the Metro Map, and stage lengths are indicated in kilometers.
